Manufacturing Assembly Technician – 1st Shift
Shift: 1st Shift – 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM start
Pay Rate: $19.00–$20.00/hour
Contract: 1+ year
Position Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Technician to support assembly, packaging, preparation, and general manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for someone with previous manufacturing experience who is comfortable working with equipment, following documented procedures, and performing repetitive production tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, packaging, and preparation operations according to approved procedures.
- Complete manufacturing documentation accurately.
- Clean equipment and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Operate and work with semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
- Support equipment installation and validation activities.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Participate in Lean/5S and continuous improvement activities.
- Work with production team members, mechanics, engineers, and management to resolve issues.
- Assist with training or orienting other employees as needed.
- Follow GMP, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of related manufacturing experience required.
- Experience working with semi-automated equipment.
- Basic knowledge of GMP and good documentation practices.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of QSR, ISO, or ISO 13485 is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to perform repetitive assembly/manufacturing tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
