A day in this role
As a Manufacturing Process Technician, you start your shift ready to keep production running smoothly. You watch the line, catch issues early, and dig into the causes of defects. When processes need tuning, you adjust procedures to improve flow and output. Throughout the shift, you coach new team members on manufacturing methods and standard work so they’re set up for success.
You document what matters—production data, quality findings, and required records—so decisions are based on facts. You work side by side with teammates, and you partner with internal groups and external customers to resolve quality concerns quickly and professionally. Safety is non‑negotiable: when called upon, you operate powered industrial equipment safely and productively.
What you will do
- Continuously monitor production processes and investigate the root causes of defects.
- Review procedures and processes; make adjustments to enhance operations and throughput.
- Train new hire production associates on manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Generate and maintain all required records accurately and on time.
- Obtain and maintain operator certification for every job you perform.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to address and resolve quality issues.
- Participate in and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently when needed.
- Work cooperatively within a team environment and support other reasonable tasks assigned by a Supervisor or Team Lead.
Work expectations
- Consistent, reliable attendance—arrive on time for all scheduled shifts and complete each shift.
- Ability to work afternoon or night shifts.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
If you thrive on problem solving, enjoy mentoring others, and care deeply about quality and continuous improvement, this role is for you.
