    Manufacturing Process Technician

    Picture your first week: you step onto the production floor, get to know the line, and begin mastering the equipment you’ll run. By the end of the shift, you’ve safely operated industrial machinery, spotted (and solved) a small defect trend, and logged your production data with precision. You’re part problem-solver, part quality champion, and fully committed to doing it right the first time.

    What You’ll Do

    • Operate industrial manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently to meet production goals.
    • Oversee processes, track performance, and investigate root causes when defects appear.
    • Perform thorough visual inspections to uphold quality standards.
    • Review procedures and make on-the-spot adjustments to improve throughput and quality.
    • Earn and maintain operator certifications across the stations you support.
    • Train and mentor new production associates on processes, procedures, and best practices.
    • Collaborate with teammates and engage with internal teams and external customers to address quality concerns.
    • Accurately complete and maintain production and quality records.
    • Support continuous improvement (LEAN) initiatives and contribute ideas for better flow and fewer defects.
    • Take on additional reasonable tasks as assigned by your Supervisor or Team Lead.

    What You Bring

    • Education: High School diploma or GED.
    • Experience: 1–2 years as a machine operator in an industrial manufacturing setting (or equivalent) required; 3+ years preferred.
    • Punctual, dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.
    • Safety-first mindset; work in full compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
    • Comfort working independently and within a team.
    • Commitment to ongoing training and skill development.

    Schedule & Availability

    • Able to work 12-hour shifts or alternate schedules, depending on plant assignment.
    • Available for afternoon or night shift.

    Your Day, At a Glance

    Start with a safety check and review of production targets. Run your equipment, keep an eye on quality checkpoints, and document outputs. If you see variation, you investigate, adjust, and verify. Throughout the day you’ll coordinate with teammates, support a trainee on your line, and close out by updating records and handing off clear notes to the next shift.
