Description

Lead Manufacturing OperationLead, mentor, and develop supervisors, team leaders, and production personnel across extrusion manufacturing operations. Establish performance objectives, monitor results, and promote accountability throughout the department. Manage workforce planning, scheduling, recruitment support, training, and skills development initiatives. Drive a positive culture focused on safety, quality, teamwork, and operational excellence. Oversee daily production activities to ensure manufacturing schedules and customer requirements are achieved. Monitor key performance indicators including productivity, equipment utilization, labor efficiency, throughput, and waste reduction. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve manufacturing performance. Coordinate resources effectively to maximize output while maintaining product quality standards. Lead investigations into production issues and implement corrective and preventative actions. Work closely with engineering, maintenance, quality, planning, and operations teams to optimize processes and equipment performance. Support preventative maintenance activities and capital improvement projects. Participate in new product launches, process transfers, and manufacturing scale-up activities. Maintain accurate process documentation, procedures, and work instructions. Support non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and material review processes. Champion continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, cost reduction, quality enhancement, and KPI achievement. Identify operational risks and opportunities and proactively develop mitigation strategies. Ensure effective communication across shifts and functional departments.
