Standard Job Description
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Stf for the Machining Operations Center (MOC) within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC). Our team is responsible for producing ultra‑precision machined components that enable infrared and electro‑optical targeting systems for critical defense platforms.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality precision parts while supporting continuous improvement across the Orlando site.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Collaborate with Manufacturing, Industrial, Quality Engineers and production stakeholders to define machining solutions.Develop, refine, and maintain CAM programs and machining strategies for CNC mills, lathes and other precision equipment.Create and update detailed work instructions, fixtures and tooling drawings that drive consistent shop‑floor execution.Provide on‑site support to resolve technical and manufacturing issues and lead root‑cause investigations for non‑conformances.Monitor and report on quality, schedule and cost performance of assigned projects, driving corrective actions as needed.
