Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Creates comprehensive work instructions from engineering drawings and parts lists.

• Implements automation and advanced technologies to enhance build efficiency.

• Leads root cause corrective action (RCCA) and Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.

• Develops process improvements that lower cost, increase quality, and accelerate delivery.

• Translates complex engineering blueprints into clear work instructions for manufacturing operations.

• Applies knowledge of composites fabrication and optical assemblies to manufacturing processes.

• Uses GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for engineering drawings and work instructions.

• Uses SAP for manufacturing operations and process management.

• Uses CREO or ProE for tool design and modeling activities.

• Collaborates with cross-functional engineering teams for process development.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering, or related discipline.

• 3+ years of experience with writing technical work instructions.

• 3+ years of working experience with composites fabrication or optical assemblies.

• 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing floor environment.

• Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

• Experience with SAP for manufacturing operations.

• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma manufacturing concepts and techniques.

• Experience with CREO or ProE with a focus on tool design.

• Experience implementing automation and advanced technologies in manufacturing processes.
