Manufacturing Engineer

Identifying and implementing process improvements across multiple CCA programs and utilizing tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless implementation of process changes.

Our client, a Aerospace And Defense company, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for their Oldsmar, FL location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and optimizing CCA and module manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
• Identifying and implementing process improvements across multiple CCA programs and utilizing tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
• Learning to create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and design specifications for fixtures and stencils
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless implementation of process changes
• Work closely with senior engineers to gain experience and learn manufacturing processes.
• Conducting experiments and trials to validate process improvements and ensure compatibility with existing equipment and systems
• Providing technical support and guidance to production staff, including training and mentoring as needed
