My client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for improving manufacturing performance through process optimization, troubleshooting, tooling improvements, corrective actions, and lean manufacturing initiatives. This individual will work closely with production teams, quality, suppliers, and leadership to drive productivity, quality, and efficiency improvements.

Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will report into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve overall production performance.
- Develop process documentation, work instructions, and manufacturing improvements that support operational excellence.
- Determine material review dispositions and develop rework instructions and corrective actions when required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodologies.
- Collaborate with outside vendors and suppliers to improve quality, delivery, and overall performance.
- Implement corrective and preventative actions while ensuring proper documentation and closure of issues.
- Support tooling, fixture, setup, and process improvements to enhance manufacturing capabilities.

Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience.
- Experience within CNC machining or precision manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of CNC programming, machine setup, cutting tools, and manufacturing best practices.
- Experience with CAM software, solid modeling, and drafting tools.
- Mastercam experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings and interpret GD&T.
- Knowledge of multi-axis milling, turning, Swiss machining, and metal finishing processes is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
