Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer I – Assembly will support the Loader Cabs assembly line at Davenport Works by developing and improving manufacturing processes, supporting production operations, and implementing projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
The role works closely with cross-functional teams and operates within established engineering and project guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology preferred, especially: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering
· 1+ year of experience with manufacturing processes, quality, tooling, preventive maintenance, or facilities.
· Experience with engineering tools and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
· Experience leading and implementing projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
· Strong communication skills with operators, peers, and leadership.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Strong personal accountability and follow-through.
