This role is pivotal in the intersection of product innovation, healthcare regulation, marketing, and e-commerce, and the successful candidate will be a legal leader and strategic partner to the company's marketing, product, and growth teams. Responsibilities include serving as a senior legal adviser for the full product portfolio, proactively implementing consumer protection laws, and cultivating a strong understanding of the business model to align legal guidance with business objectives. The role also involves leading, developing, and mentoring a team of attorneys, and setting standards and processes for product legal support in a fast-paced, consumer-centric environment.The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school, active bar membership, and at least 9 years of experience in legal practice, with a focus on consumer products and advertising/marketing issues. Key skills include the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, excellent communication, relationship-building, and business judgment. A creative, self-starter mindset, and experience in leading a team of legal professionals are preferred. The role requires a candidate who is excited about both advising on complex product matters and shaping legal strategy, processes, and standards in a high-growth company.
