Job Description (Manager Crypto Strategic Initiatives)

As a Manager on the Crypto Strategic Initiatives Team within Growth Products and Partnerships at Visa, you will be responsible for driving execution of key strategic initiatives (or major workstreams within Initiatives) for Visas crypto efforts. Example responsibilities of the role include:

Qualifications
Basic:

University Recruiting: MBA/ PhD without experience
58+ years of experience in operations or program management, preferably in fintech, blockchain, payments, or financial services
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, including the capability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment
Track record of stakeholder management across technical, legal, compliance, and operational functions
Strong understanding of crypto ecosystems and broader digital asset market dynamics
Experience working with legal and regulatory teams, particularly on financial regulations, digital assets, or compliance matters
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing materials for executive leadership
Experience with governance processes, including steering committees, executive reviews, and regulatory reporting
Ability to identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce operational risk
Passion for innovation in financial technology and an interest in shaping the future of digital currency
Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior managers and external business partners
Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities

The estimated salary range for this position is $146,200.00 to $ 233,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
