Summary:
Responsible for accurate and timely consolidated financial statements and analyses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Develop and maintain knowledge of SAP general ledger and HFM Consolidation system.
Lead a team of analysts with hiring, training, and mentoring responsibilities.
Provide guidance on accounting matters and Corporate Financial Instructions globally.
Initiate and lead special projects to meet customer needs and enhance efficiencies.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain process documentation.
Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements and analyses.
Develop expertise in SAP general ledger and HFM Consolidation system.
Lead a team of analysts, including hiring, training, and mentoring.
Provide guidance on accounting matters to assist global business units.
Initiate and lead special projects to enhance department processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain process documentation.
Serve key customers including VP & Corporate Controller, Investor Relations, and others.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum of 7 years of business experience in accounting or finance.
Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.
Knowledge of financial statements, technical accounting, and SEC requirements.
Aptitude for systems, processes, and driving continuous improvement.
Preferred Skills:
CPA certification or accounting/finance related advanced degree.
Experience in a multinational company or a “Big 4” accounting firm.
Experience leading a team.
Experience with accounting consolidation systems, specifically HFM.
