The Northrop Grumman Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO) is seeking a first level (Level 1) Manager of Computer Systems Analysis to lead and supervise a small team of dynamic technical professionals. This position is a management role and it will require functional management duties.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
• Lead and mentor Classified Solutions staff of system admins, desktop techs, and network engineers performing direct administration of Information Systems and associated classified networks. • Work across disciplines to isolate issues between software, firmware, and hardware, between software and operating systems, between networks and applications, and between one-time events and recurrent systematic problems. • Keep multi‑user classified servers and networks running reliably (install, patch, upgrade, monitor, configure). • Recommend and implement system enhancements, to include automation, that will improve the performance of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management. • Lead creation and upkeep of standard operating procedures, and configuration guides. • Align support activities with business goals, managing performance metrics and adapting resources as needs change. • Produce clear written reports and deliver oral briefings for all internal stakeholders and external partners, keeping everyone informed of status, risks, and outcomes. • Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues with vendors; evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions. • Analyze and make recommendations to internal or external customer requirements and determine equipment and software requirements for solutions to problems. • Support customer programs and perform functional management duties based on business needs and performance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Masters degree with 3 years of relevant technical experience; OR a Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant technical experience is required • Experience with Windows domains, including but not limited to Active Directory, GPOs, Policies, and permissions • Experience with documentation and configuration management as they pertain to compliance and security controls • Candidates must have a current DOD Top Secret/SCI level security clearance to include a recently adjudicated Polygraph (within the last 5 years) in order to be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate will have a Masters Degree in a STEM related discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology) and 4 years of technical experience with 1 year as a team lead, supervisor, or manager in a classified environment • Experience and familiarity with IT infrastructure (i.e., virtualization, networking, data center architecture, cloud, or systems administration) • Experience with Linux, RedHat, Solaris, CentOS, and AWS Cloud • Proven leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills • Demonstrate exemplary professionalism and ability to maintain composure in stressful situations • Demonstrate strong team building/collaboration skills • Demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills, and excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward) • Demonstrate time management and organizational skills to prioritize across concurrent program and functional responsibilities
