    Manager CNC Programming Leader 
    Location: Buffalo
    Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site

    Overview of the Role

    We’re working with a highly regarded precision manufacturing company in the Buffalo region that continues to expand its footprint through investment in cutting-edge machining technology. With recent changes in leadership, they are looking to bring in an experienced CNC programming professional who can guide the team while remaining deeply involved in complex programming work.

    This position plays a key role in shaping machining strategy, improving efficiency, and supporting ongoing growth within a modern production environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide technical leadership and direction to CNC programming staff
    • Develop and execute advanced CNC programs, including multi-axis and 5-axis applications
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to review prints and improve manufacturability
    • Evaluate and refine programming workflows, tooling strategies, and cycle time performance
    • Support production with hands-on problem solving for challenging machining scenarios
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor

    Qualifications

    • Extensive experience with CNC programming using CAD/CAM systems
    • Strong background working with multi-axis machining centers (5-axis preferred)
    • Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and apply GD&T principles
    • Demonstrated leadership capability, whether in a formal management role or as a technical lead
    • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on precision, efficiency, and quality outcomes

    Compensation & Benefits

    • $145,000 – $185,000 annually (adjusted upward from original range)
    • Comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and paid time off
