Managed Care Litigation Attorney

NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a confidential global law firm to identify a Managed Care Litigation Associate. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with experience representing healthcare providers in reimbursement disputes against payors. The role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated litigation matters while working with a nationally recognized healthcare disputes practice.

Responsibilities

• Represent healthcare providers in managed care and reimbursement litigation matters
• Handle all phases of litigation, including case strategy, legal research, drafting pleadings, discovery, and motion practice
• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and develop effective litigation strategies
• Collaborate with clients and legal teams to resolve high-stakes healthcare disputes

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission
• 3+ years of managed care litigation experience at a law firm
• Experience representing healthcare providers in reimbursement disputes against payors
• Strong analytical, legal writing, oral advocacy, and client communication skills
• Experience working in a large or specialized law firm environment preferred
