    Maintenance Technician 

    Location: Spartanburg, SC
    Schedule: 12-hour rotating shift (3-2-2)
    Hours: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM

    HTI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturing client in Spartanburg, SC. This is a critical, high-impact role focused on minimizing downtime and supporting production through advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

    Position Overview

    The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems and PLC diagnostics. This position requires a high level of autonomy and the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, with a primary focus on electrical systems
    • Diagnose and resolve equipment failures independently
    • Perform PLC troubleshooting and editing (Allen Bradley)
    • Support robotics and automated systems
    • Maintain presses, welders, and assembly equipment
    • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and uptime

    Qualifications

    • Multicraft Maintenance experience strongly preferred
    • Advanced electrical troubleshooting capability required
    • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs (troubleshooting and editing)
    • Ability to troubleshoot PLCs vs. full programming
    • Experience with robotics and automation systems
    • Strong mechanical aptitude (presses, welding equipment, etc.)
    • High school diploma required; technical training preferred

    Additional experience with servo motors, drives, and communication systems is a plus.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • $37+  per hour. Competitive, tiered pay based on experience and skill level
    • $0.30/hour shift differential
