Maintenance Technician
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shift (3-2-2)
Hours: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM
HTI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturing client in Spartanburg, SC. This is a critical, high-impact role focused on minimizing downtime and supporting production through advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems and PLC diagnostics. This position requires a high level of autonomy and the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, with a primary focus on electrical systems
- Diagnose and resolve equipment failures independently
- Perform PLC troubleshooting and editing (Allen Bradley)
- Support robotics and automated systems
- Maintain presses, welders, and assembly equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
Qualifications
- Multicraft Maintenance experience strongly preferred
- Advanced electrical troubleshooting capability required
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs (troubleshooting and editing)
- Ability to troubleshoot PLCs vs. full programming
- Experience with robotics and automation systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude (presses, welding equipment, etc.)
- High school diploma required; technical training preferred
Additional experience with servo motors, drives, and communication systems is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- $37+ per hour. Competitive, tiered pay based on experience and skill level
- $0.30/hour shift differential
