Maintenance Technician

This is a great opportunity for experienced maintenance technicians looking to work on 3rd shift. Applicants must be able to pass a maintenance exam.

Our client is a leading manufacturing company for Paper and Pulp, and we are looking for experienced technicians on a fulltime basis.

Position details:

• Weekend and holiday work (as needed)
• Fulltime employment (M-F 11pm-7am)

Duties:

• Work within a manufacturing environment servicing manufacturing equipment such as boilers, air compressors, and electric lift trucks.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of workplace safety protocols
• Experience with different areas of maintenance including welding, electrical, hydraulics, steam, pneumatics, and machining
• Knowledge of PLC computer programming, robotics and related electronics considered an asset
• High school diploma/GED required
• Candidate must have their own tools
