Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
• Perform MIG and Stick welding and basic fabrication as needed.
• Install, repair, and maintain motors, conveyors, belts, chains, bearings, gearboxes, and related mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot three-phase motors, transformers, relays, VFDs, and electrical circuits.
• Perform plumbing repairs and hydraulic hose fabrication.
• Use precision measuring tools including calipers, multimeters, and tape measures.
• Complete preventative maintenance inspections and accurately document all work performed using a CMMS or maintenance logs.
• Follow all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
• Maintain an organized work area and properly care for company tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical ladder diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Welding and fabrication experience (MIG and Stick) preferred.
• Experience with VFDs, three-phase motors, transformers, relays, and industrial controls.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and preventative maintenance programs.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and repair heavy mechanical components.
