Facility Maintenance Technician II

Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
- Perform MIG and Stick welding and basic fabrication as needed.
- Install, repair, and maintain motors, conveyors, belts, chains, bearings, gearboxes, and related mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot three-phase motors, transformers, relays, VFDs, and electrical circuits.
- Perform plumbing repairs and hydraulic hose fabrication.
- Use precision measuring tools including calipers, multimeters, and tape measures.
- Complete preventative maintenance inspections and accurately document all work performed using a CMMS or maintenance logs.
- Follow all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
- Maintain an organized work area and properly care for company tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 35 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical ladder diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Welding and fabrication experience (MIG and Stick) preferred.
- Experience with VFDs, three-phase motors, transformers, relays, and industrial controls.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and preventative maintenance programs.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and repair heavy mechanical components.
