Our client, a manufacturing facility in New Hope, MN, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the plant's operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: New Hope, MN
Pay Rate: $30.00/hour
Position Type: 1-Year Contract-to-Hire
Shift: Monday - Friday; 3:00PM - 11:30PM
What's the Job?
- Complete maintenance assignments to repair and maintain equipment efficiently and accurately.
- Troubleshoot mechanical devices, electrical systems, and PLC systems to identify issues and implement solutions.
- Operate shop machinery such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and welding equipment.
- Install, repair, and modify hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, preventative maintenance, and inventory management.
What's Needed?
- Technical School Degree or equivalent experience; completed Associate Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and PLC troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with shop machinery and hand tools, pneumatic tools, and safety equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly and handle up to 250 pounds occasionally.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to multitask effectively.
