Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Maintenance Shift Lead to oversee second-shift maintenance operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This position combines hands-on maintenance responsibilities with team leadership, ensuring production equipment remains reliable while maximizing uptime through effective troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and employee support.

Required Experience & Skills
Strong industrial maintenance experience required
Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Experience managing and executing preventive maintenance (PM) programs
Proven leadership or supervisory experience
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude in an industrial environment
Basic computer skills required for maintenance documentation and work orders
High school diploma, GED, or technical certification preferred
High Pressure Boiler License preferred
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial production equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and operational issues
Lead, coach, mentor, and support maintenance technicians during daily operations
Develop, coordinate, and execute preventive maintenance schedules
Perform electrical, plumbing, electronic, and facility maintenance as needed
Coordinate maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency
Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation
Promote a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Perform additional maintenance and leadership duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance department
Technical training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or mechanical systems
Experience with CMMS or computerized maintenance tracking systems
Knowledge of continuous improvement and equipment reliability practices
Physical Requirements
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Comfortable working around moving machinery, noise, vibration, fumes, and industrial equipment
Ability to safely perform maintenance duties while wearing required PPE
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing facility

Exposure to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility systems
Leadership role supporting both maintenance personnel and production operations
