    Position Overview

    Stand-By Personnel is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support a busy industrial manufacturing operation in the Tulsa area. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, completing repairs, and helping ensure production machinery and facility systems remain safe and operational.

    The ideal candidate has previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, and working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems. This is a hands-on position for someone who can diagnose problems efficiently and respond quickly to minimize production downtime.

    Required Experience & Skills

    • Previous Maintenance Technician experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
    • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
    • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems preferred
    • Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting experience preferred
    • Conveyor maintenance experience preferred
    • Ability to diagnose equipment failures and determine appropriate repairs
    • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to follow preventive maintenance schedules and procedures
    • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
    • Ability to work Monday through Saturday on the assigned schedule
    • Strong commitment to workplace safety

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Perform preventive and routine maintenance on production machinery and equipment
    • Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or potential mechanical problems
    • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
    • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions
    • Complete repairs efficiently to minimize production downtime
    • Repair or replace defective machine components as required
    • Assist with installation of replacement components and equipment
    • Respond promptly to production maintenance requests
    • Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation
    • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential failures before breakdowns occur
    • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
    • Communicate recurring equipment concerns to appropriate personnel
    • Maintain tools and maintenance areas in clean and organized condition
    • Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance requirements
    • Assist with facility maintenance projects as assigned
    • Perform additional industrial maintenance duties as required

    Mechanical & Electrical Responsibilities

    Candidates may troubleshoot and maintain:

    • Production machinery
    • Mechanical drive systems
    • Industrial electrical systems
    • Motors and related components
    • Conveyors
    • Hydraulic systems
    • Pneumatic systems
    • Bearings and mechanical components
    • Facility equipment
    • Other industrial production systems

    Preventive Maintenance Responsibilities

    • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance activities
    • Inspect machinery for abnormal wear or operating conditions
    • Lubricate, adjust, clean, and service equipment as required
    • Identify components approaching failure
    • Replace worn parts before they cause unnecessary downtime
    • Document completed maintenance accurately
    • Help improve equipment reliability and production uptime

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Industrial Maintenance Technician experience
    • Manufacturing equipment maintenance experience
    • Electrical troubleshooting experience
    • Hydraulic and pneumatic repair experience
    • Conveyor maintenance experience
    • Mechanical equipment repair experience
    • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
    • Experience using electrical or mechanical diagnostic equipment
    • Preventive maintenance experience
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and independent troubleshooting ability

    Blueprints & Technical Documentation

    Experience with the following is a plus:

    • Mechanical blueprints
    • Electrical schematics
    • Equipment diagrams
    • Technical manuals
    • Manufacturer maintenance documentation
    • Preventive maintenance procedures

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
    • Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, climbing, lifting, pushing, and pulling
    • Ability to safely access machinery and equipment for repairs
    • Manual dexterity required for tools, components, and diagnostic equipment
    • Comfortable performing physically demanding maintenance work throughout an extended shift
    • Ability to safely work around production machinery and industrial equipment while wearing required PPE

    Work Environment

    • Industrial manufacturing and production environment
    • Regular work around production machinery, conveyors, electrical equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics
    • Hands-on position involving preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, and facility support
