Maintenance Technician – Injection Molding

Location: McHenry, IL
Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: Up to $45/hour
Overtime: Available

A leading medical device manufacturer is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician with injection molding experience to join its manufacturing team in McHenry. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment and keeping a production environment running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment
  • Support injection molding equipment and processes
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
  • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and improvements
  • Respond to production equipment breakdowns and quickly identify root causes
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to the appropriate teams
  • Follow established safety, quality, and regulatory procedures within a medical-device manufacturing environment
What We're Looking For
  • Hands-on injection molding experience is required
  • Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance needs
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment or medical-device industry is a plus
