Schedule: M-F (7:00am-4:00pm)

Pay Rate: $23 + DOE

Location: Boise, ID

Position Type: Full-time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, clean, and rebuild equipment components and subassemblies.
  • Inspect and restore mechanical, pneumatic, pump, and electrical parts to operational standards.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment, including multimeters, to diagnose and repair components.
  • Follow all company, customer, OSHA, safety, and quality procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while supporting multiple projects and shop functions.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and customers to ensure high-quality service and timely completion of tasks.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical systems.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and documentation.
  • Comfortable working with hazardous chemicals and following strict safety protocols.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Preferences:

  • Background in automotive, aviation, HVAC, plumbing, low-voltage systems, factory assembly, or related technical trades.
  • Experience repairing, rebuilding, or maintaining industrial equipment components.
  • Prior semiconductor FAB equipment maintenance experience.
  • Military or commercial aircraft maintenance and repair experience.
  • Hands-on mechanical experience with vehicles, motorcycles, machinery, or other equipment.

Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
