    Maintenance Technician Job Description

    MAVD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide outstanding service to our tenants in a Class A commercial office environment. The prospective candidates must work well both independently, under supervision, and have a strong customer oriented work ethic.

     

    Responsibilities and Duties: (may include but are not limited to)

     

    ·         Provide onsite completion of maintenance service request as assigned.

    ·         Communicate with team members and management to complete work orders in a timely fashion.

    ·         Maintenance experience with plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, HVAC, appliance repair, general building maintenance, and repair of building equipment (i.e. refrigeration, heating, electrical, and plumbing equipment).

    ·         Installation of new equipment as necessary.

    ·         Repairs and maintains equipment and machinery.

    ·         Ensures that preventative maintenance procedures are carried out on a scheduled basis and completes maintenance records for equipment.

    ·         Assists in development of programs of regular preventive maintenance for all equipment.

    ·         Provides insight into inventory of replacement parts, supplies and hardware.

    ·         Operation of company vehicle

    ·         Report all major repairs and requisitions to the Property Manager prior to any expenditure of funds.

    ·         Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, vendors, and general public.

    ·         Demonstrates sound judgment.

    ·         Performs well under pressure.

    ·         Maintains the highest safety and customer service standards.

    ·         Ability to perform heavy lifting (at least 60 lbs.), climb ladders up to 24 ft., stand and walk for 8 hours, and perform other physically demanding duties as directed.

    ·         Participates in the on-call rotation with other company Maintenance Technicians

    Other Duties as assigned
