Job Description

Aramark Facilities Management is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support multiple facility locations.

This is a high-skill, hands-on role responsible for maintaining and repairing critical building systems including HVAC, plumbing, dock equipment, and general facility infrastructure. You will troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and take ownership of system performance across sites.

This role is best suited for a self-sufficient technician who can work independently, manage their workload, and identify opportunities to prevent failures and improve operations.

Compensation: This role pays between $40.00 and $45.00 per hour, based on experience, licensing, and overall technical skill set

Job Responsibilities

General Maintenance & Operations

  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and complete work orders across facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and building systems
  • Develop and manage maintenance schedules and task lists
  • Identify issues early and recommend solutions to prevent downtime
  • Maintain inventory and order parts as needed

HVAC Systems

  • Perform routine HVAC maintenance including filters, belts, lubrication, and inspections
  • Troubleshoot common HVAC issues and perform repairs
  • Support systems such as chillers, cooling towers, and high-volume water pumps

Plumbing

  • Repair and maintain commercial plumbing systems including faucets, flush valves, and drains
  • Perform general troubleshooting and fixture replacement

Dock & Facility Equipment

  • Maintain and repair dock doors, roll-up doors, and high-speed doors
  • Service dock systems including dock locks, seals, and restraints
  • Perform inspections, adjustments, and mechanical repairs

Fire Life Safety

  • Conduct monthly fire extinguisher inspections and identify issues
  • Maintain and restock first aid stations

Autonomy & Vendor Management

  • Work independently and manage daily workload without direct supervision
  • Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors to ensure quality work
  • Communicate findings and provide recommendations for repairs and improvements

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or building maintenance
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work independently
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and tablet-based systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level 2 HVAC license (or equivalent)
  • Experience with chillers, cooling towers, and commercial systems
  • Experience with dock equipment or industrial environments

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to travel between locations as needed
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Ability to perform physical work including lifting, climbing, and working in varied environments

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
