We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a well-established residential community in Columbus. If you have experience with apartment or residential maintenance and enjoy solving problems while keeping properties in top condition, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career.

What You'll Do

• Complete maintenance work orders in apartments and common areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues.
• Repair and maintain residential appliances, including dishwashers, washers, and dryers.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep the property running efficiently.
• Prepare apartments for new residents by completing make-ready work and punch lists.
• Inspect building exteriors and maintain the grounds.
• Assist with seasonal duties such as snow removal and light landscaping.
• Keep maintenance areas organized and ensure safety equipment is properly maintained.
• Participate in the on-call rotation (every other week; emergency calls are rare).

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of residential or apartment maintenance experience
• HVAC experience required
• Experience with appliances, light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA/HVAC Certification (preferred but not required)
