With a stable OEM customer base and a culture built on continuous improvement, we are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Coordinator to lead our injection molding maintenance team and keep production running at its best.

Their Central Ohio facility houses lighting and mold design, tool construction, production engineering, and dedicated teams across Quality, Assembly, Sales, and Customer Service.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Provide leadership to associates through daily supervision in a complex, reactive troubleshooting maintenance environment by:

Overseeing repairs and preventive maintenance on all injection molding equipment
Following preventive maintenance schedules and establishing PM procedures
Monitoring production to reduce machine downtime
Promoting a safe and clean working environment
Leading associates through clear expectations, feedback, and teamwork
Controlling manufacturing cost by tracking machine downtime and reject trends to identify root causes
Tracking inventory and requisitions for maintenance supplies
Ensuring associates safely follow work instructions and ISO procedures
Determining repair and maintenance budgets and ensuring repairs stay within budget
Training associates in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, injection processing, and machine awareness

HOW YOU WILL QUALIFY

High school diploma or GED
5+ years' experience in injection molding manufacturing
2+ years' maintenance leadership experience
Proficient in MS Office

WORKING CONDITIONS

General office environment: approximately 3 hours per day
Manufacturing environment: approximately 5 hours per day
Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of equipment
May be required to sit or stand for extended periods
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Occasional overnight travel may be required for training or work at remote locations
Overtime (planned and unplanned) required to meet customer deadlines

HAZARDS

Frequent exposure to moving or mechanical parts
Moderate noise levels, with hearing protection required in designated areas
