Candidates with food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience will be considered—with a strong preference for aseptic or ESL dairy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead a unionized maintenance team, focusing on collaboration, development, and safety.
    • Assign, oversee, and troubleshoot maintenance tasks with minimal downtime.
    • Leverage strong knowledge of PLC ladder logic to diagnose issues (programming not required).
    • Support the installation and upkeep of servo-driven automation systems.
    • Manage preventive maintenance programs and emergency repair responses.
    • Use SAP or similar CMMS to maintain accurate records and work orders.
    • Collaborate on capital projects and continuous improvement efforts.
    • Partner with inventory and procurement to ensure parts availability.
    • Drive root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree a plus.
    • 2–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including team leadership or lead-level roles.
    • Experience in highly automated food, beverage, or pharmaceutical facilities.
    • Strong ability to troubleshoot PLCs and automated control systems.
    • Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and servo-based equipment.
    • Union experience strongly preferred.
    • Relevant certifications (electrical, welding, refrigeration) are a bonus.

    Work Environment:

    • Fast-paced manufacturing setting with exposure to heat, noise, and confined spaces.
    • Physical activity required, including walking, standing, and lifting up to 55 lbs.
