We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Store Parts Clerk to support our food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for managing maintenance parts inventory, ensuring timely availability of materials, and maintaining accurate records using SAP. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or food production environment and a strong understanding of inventory control processes.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies
Issue parts to maintenance technicians and track usage through work orders
Utilize SAP to manage inventory, purchasing, and maintenance records
Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorders to prevent downtime
Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and parts
Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits for accuracy
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe storeroom environment
Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to ensure parts availability
Follow all food safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety regulations
Assist with procurement and vendor coordination as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required: SAP experience (inventory, purchasing, or maintenance modules)
Previous experience in maintenance storeroom, warehouse, or manufacturing (food industry preferred)
Understanding of GMPs and food safety standards is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills and proficiency with inventory systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Ability to work in a production or warehouse environment
Work Environment
