    Maintenance Mechanic – Night Shift

    Location: Spartanburg, SC
    Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Shift (3-2-2)
    Hours: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM
    Pay:$26.41–$31.76/hour + $0.30/hour Night Shift Differential

    Position Overview

    The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing operations. This position supports preventive maintenance programs, responds to equipment breakdowns, and performs a variety of electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks throughout the facility.

    Candidates will be evaluated and placed into an A, B, or C Maintenance Mechanic level based on experience, technical ability, and assessment results.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment

    • Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery

    • Install and wire equipment as needed

    • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues

    • Install and replace lighting fixtures and bulbs

    • Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts after certification

    • Follow all safety, environmental, and quality standards

    • Support continuous improvement efforts to maximize equipment uptime

    • Maintain a clean and organized work area

    Qualifications

    • Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

    • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

    • Electrical maintenance experience preferred

    • Ability to read and interpret maintenance documentation

    • Willingness to obtain certifications for forklifts, aerial lifts, and fall protection

    • High school diploma or GED required

    • Technical or vocational training is a plus

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Pay: $26.41–$31.76/hour (based on experience and skill level)

    • Shift Differential: $0.30/hour

    • Overtime opportunities available
