Description

Summary:

  • Location: Minnetonka, MN
  • Hours: Monday to Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, safety checks, repairs, installations, and modifications on production equipment.
  • Record all maintenance repair activity on production equipment and fixtures using CMMS.
  • Repair and troubleshoot industrial machines and production equipment.
  • Use small tools, micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, multimeters, etc.
  • Understand and follow verbal and written procedures, as well as read and interpret drawings and electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Diagnose PLC problems and take corrective action to repair.
  • Requisition items for inventory, spare parts, and emergency repairs.
  • Support 5S initiatives and perform functional testing of assembly or production equipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two-year technical vocational training and/or military experience.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Hands-on maintenance experience with technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to explain prior maintenance work and experience clearly during interviews.

Preferred Skills:

  • Degree or formal education in maintenance or related technical field is a plus.
  • Medical device or optics manufacturing experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Some PLC experience preferred; basic troubleshooting and understanding.
