Title: Maintenance Mechanic II Location: Minnetonka, MN Hours: Monday to Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am

WHAT YOULL DO
Perform preventative, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, safety checks, repairs, installations, and modifications on production equipment.
Record all maintenance repair activity on production equipment and fixtures using CMMS.
Knowledge of and skill in repairing industrial machines
Knowledge of and experience in troubleshooting and repairing all production equipment
Knowledge of and experience in using small tools, micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, multimeters, etc.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written procedures
Ability to read and understand drawings and electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics
Knowledge of personal computer operations and skill in using software packages including Microsoft Office
Ability to respond to and answer/solve technical questions and problems
Tear down, inspect and rebuild production equipment
Ability to diagnose PLC problems and take the appropriate corrective action to repair
Requisition needed items for inventory, spare parts and emergency repairs
Support 5S
Repairing, disassembling, and troubleshooting equipment
Strong focus on maintenance experience (not assembly-only backgrounds)
Functional testing of assembly or production equipment
Mechanical troubleshooting; fabrication is not a major requirement
Comfort working around automation equipment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOULL BRING
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two-year technical vocational training and/or military experience.
Minimum 2 years experience.
Knowledge of and skill in repairing industrial machines
Degree or formal education in maintenance or related technical field is a plus
Industrial maintenance experience required
Experience disassembling and maintaining machines
Medical device or optics manufacturing experience is a plus, but not mandatory
Hands-on maintenance experience
Technical troubleshooting skills
Ability to explain prior maintenance work and experience clearly during interviews
