Title:Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Columbus OH 43215
Duration:12+ Month Contract
Shift: 1st shift - 06:30 AM -03:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22 to $26/hr.
  • The Pilot Plant Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of pilot plant processing and packaging equipment.
  • This position supports product development, scale-up activities, and manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with food industry standards.
  • The mechanic performs both preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of food processing systems and utility equipment while minimizing downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.


Maintain and repair food processing equipment including:
  • Retorts
  • Aseptic sterilizers
  • Homogenizers
  • High-shear mixers
  • Processing vessels and tanks
  • Heat exchangers
  • Pumps and piping systems
  • Conveyors
  • Filling and packaging systems
  • Support equipment startups, changeovers, and commissioning activities.
