Job Title: Maintenance Documentation Specialist (TPM)
Job Description
The Maintenance Documentation Specialist supports the development and implementation of TPM and LEAN manufacturing practices by creating and maintaining clear, accurate equipment documentation and procedures. This role focuses on preventative maintenance packages, work instructions, job safety analyses, standard operating procedures, operator safety checks, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures. The specialist ensures that every machine has correct and up-to-date SOPs and visibly posts step-by-step instructions on machines, floors, and surrounding areas to promote safety and operational clarity. The role also includes maintaining general exterior machine cleanliness and addressing visible mess or dirt to keep the work area safe and orderly.

Work Environment
The role is based in a shop and industrial environment with early-day shifts, typically from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with potential adjustment to a 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. schedule. The workday involves walking or standing for about 90% of the time and handling tasks in areas that may not be air-conditioned. Some parts of the shop can be dirty, and certain responsibilities require working directly with equipment and surroundings, including getting hands-on and occasionally performing general cleanup. The environment includes exposure to machinery, tools, and maintenance equipment, and requires adherence to safety procedures such as LOTO and safe use of man-lifts and DVOMs. Employees work alongside sub-contractors, equipment owners, and other team members in a setting that combines office-based documentation work with on-the-floor activities around machines and production areas.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
