    Maintenance Controller

    Sparta Networking is seeking experienced Maintenance Controllers to support a leading aviation operation. This position plays a critical role in coordinating aircraft maintenance activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and minimizing operational disruptions while maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability.

    The ideal candidate has a strong maintenance background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor aircraft maintenance status and coordinate corrective actions as needed
    • Provide technical support to maintenance teams, flight operations, and company leadership
    • Review aircraft discrepancies and determine appropriate maintenance actions
    • Coordinate aircraft recovery efforts, AOG events, and unscheduled maintenance activities
    • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, MEL, CDL, and maintenance procedures
    • Serve as the primary communication point between maintenance providers, vendors, and operational departments
    • Review maintenance records and documentation for accuracy and completeness
    • Support aircraft return-to-service decisions in accordance with company procedures
    • Maintain situational awareness of fleet status and operational impacts

    Qualifications

    • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred
    • Previous Maintenance Control experience preferred
    • Experience supporting Part 121, Part 135, or corporate aviation operations preferred
    • Strong understanding of FAA regulations, MEL, CDL, and aircraft maintenance practices
    • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and decision-making skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced operations environment and manage multiple priorities
    • Proficiency with maintenance tracking and operational software systems
