Pay: $18–$20/hour during contract period; anticipated $22.50–$24/hour upon conversion
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours/week); overtime eligible with supervisor approval

Job Description:
The Mailroom & Print Operations Assistant will support the Facilities team in managing daily print production, mail distribution, and general office operations. This individual will play a key role in ensuring internal departments receive timely printing services and mail processing support, while also contributing to overall building operations. Key Responsibilities:
Operate high-volume digital press and copier equipment (including Canon or similar devices) to complete print jobs such as bound materials, reports, and bulk mailings
Manage incoming print requests through email and in-person submissions
Troubleshoot basic printer and mail equipment issues and coordinate service when needed
Sort, log, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including courier shipments (UPS, FedEx, USPS)
Meter and track outgoing mail; ensure timely processing of priority deliveries
Maintain inventory of toner and print/mail supplies; place orders as necessary
Provide guidance to staff regarding mailing procedures, shipping options, and print specifications
Assist with office support tasks such as nameplate orders, mailbox label creation, furniture moves, and meeting room setups
Provide backup reception coverage, including greeting visitors and managing a multi-line phone system
Support facilities-related initiatives and additional operational tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
1–3+ years of experience in a professional office, mailroom, print shop, or digital press environment
Hands-on experience operating Canon digital press equipment or comparable high-volume print machines strongly preferred
Familiarity with mail processing systems and shipping carriers
Strong communication and customer service skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requests efficiently
Comfortable working both in front-facing reception coverage and behind-the-scenes operations
Spanish language skills are a plus
High school diploma or GED required
