    Description

    • Performs all setups and change overs, operates 2 –3 multiwire machines to meet customers and quality requirements.
    • Performs minor maintenance on multiwire machines, including cleaning and general house keeping, reporting any problems to supervisor.
    • Pulls off wire scrap from spools and places in proper containers.
    • Performs annealing tests, measures wire gauge and performs other tests.
    • Maintains records, submits paperwork and reports to MRP system.
    • Must be certified to run forklift.
    • Aware of Kalas’ environmental policy and what it means to them.
    • Aware of their significant environmental aspects and knows how to mitigate or eliminate the environmental impacts associated with them.
    • Additional overtime may be required.
    • Meets attendance requirements as stated in associate handbook.
    • Observes all company housekeeping and safety rules.
    • Temporary work at ECPD may be required according to business needs.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
