Responsibilities

• Perform advanced machine setup, process troubleshooting, and ensure all processes achieve required tolerances
• Lead process improvements and mentor lower-level employees
• Hone Koyo Centerless Grind CNC drill operations
• Troubleshoot mechanical, setup, quality, and process issues
• Achieve and maintain tolerances below .0005 independently
• Collaborate with quality and engineering to resolve quality issues
• Train and mentor Machinists 1, 2, and Operators
• Document and refine setup procedures and standard work instructions
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
• Assist with machine repair and preventive maintenance
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and production standards
• Maintain autonomous maintenance schedule

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years machining experience
• Expert in precision machining and tolerances below .0005
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T
• Leadership and mentoring experience
• Experience with CNC programming and advanced setup preferred
