Machine Operator / Maintenance Technician

We are hiring a hands-on Machine Operator / Maintenance Technician to operate, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment in a plastics manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up thermoforming equipment, including GN, SembCorp, and Lyle machines
• Perform tooling changes, adjustments, changeovers, and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Diagnose low/high voltage circuits, PLCs, servo motors, drives, relays, solenoids, motors, and gearboxes
• Use electrical meters, schematics, hand tools, and power tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Support automation equipment including robots, palletizers, case erectors, and high-speed printers
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize downtime
• Fabricate or modify machine parts as needed
• Document maintenance and repairs
• Follow all GMP, EHS, safety, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machine operation, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, drives, and automated equipment
• Thermoforming/plastics experience is a plus
• Comfortable working in both production and maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
