Machine Operator 2nd shift

Nesco Resource is currently seeking a Machine Operator for our long-time food manufacturing client in Ferndale, MI.

Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm, Monday - Friday with overtime as production demands.


Pay:$14.25 per hour for training. Once training has been completed $16.25 per hour.

Duties may include:

• Prepare paperwork and supplies for efficiency at the start of shift
• Perform necessary set-up and pre-check tasks on machine
• Operate assigned machine according to specific work instructions and production schedules
• Monitor machine for correct settings and operation
• Perform routine troubleshooting and maintenance as needed
• Maintain clean and safe workspace adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices and quality standards consistently
• Complete necessary paperwork at end of shift

• Machine operation experience
• Food manufacturing/processing experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift 50lbs intermittently throughout shift
• Ability to work in a wet/cold (30-40 degrees) environment
