M3 Cloudsuite Finance Consultant, Senior

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Infor M3 Cloudsuite. As a Senior Functional Consultant, Finance, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to the implementation, configuration, and support of M3 software for our clients. You act as a strategic liaison between internal business stakeholders and work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and end-users, to ensure the successful deployment of this software within environments.

In this key position, you will direct impact and responsibility for large-scale enterprise implementation projects. You will partner with talented colleagues implementing D365 for Finance & Operations based solutions – all the way from scoping through analysis to design and implementation. Responsibilities:

• Lead finance workstreams across discovery, process design, configuration, testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support.

• Provide functional expertise for client support cases as needed, including investigating issues, answering questions, identifying root causes, recommending resolutions, and coordinating with technical or cross-functional resources.

• Facilitate workshops with finance leaders, process owners, and subject-matter experts to understand current-state processes, define future-state requirements, and guide design decisions.

• Configure and advise on M3 finance capabilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash management, financial reporting, and cost accounting, as applicable to each engagement.

• Translate business requirements into solution designs that align with M3 standard functionality, client objectives, internal controls, and established implementation practices.

• Identify gaps, evaluate options, recommend solutions, and clearly communicate business impacts, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs.

• Support financial master data, data conversion, integrations, reporting, security, and reconciliation activities in collaboration with technical and cross-functional teams.

• Provide training and support for end users to ensure smooth adoption

• Support post go-live activities to prepare operations team for ongoing support

• Maintain and expand client relationships through delivery of high-quality services

Requirements:

• 5+ years of consulting experience with Infor M3, including multiple implementation, upgrade, or optimization engagements involving M3 finance.

• 5+ years of experience as a finance consultant working directly with financial process and controls, including record to report, procure to pay, order to cash, financialclose and management reporting.

• A minimum of 3 full life cycle finance implementations on Infor M3 completed

• Must have a financial background with demonstrated experience and proven knowledge in finance and accounting

• Experience with data migration, intercompany, multi-legal entities management

• Previous external client facing experience with all levels of the organization, including senior level leadership

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills

• BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science or Accounting preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively meet deadlines

• Excellent demonstration and presentation skills

• Ability to travel up to 30% to provide services to clients

Preferred:

• Experience with M3 CloudSuite and related Infor technologies, including Infor OS, ION, IDM, security, workflows, and reporting or analytics tools.

• Experience with multi-company, multi-site, multi-currency, or global ERP implementations.

• Background in manufacturing, food and beverage, distribution, equipment, or other industries that commonly use M3.

• Accounting certification, M3 certification, or comparable professional credentials.

• broader consulting team by sharing knowledge, reusable approaches, and lessons learned.
