Los Angeles - Litigation Associate (Judicial Clerk)

Kirkland's Los Angeles office is accepting applications from law clerks for litigation associate positions to start in 2026 and 2027. Clerks with a record of outstanding academic achievement and a desire to assume early responsibility will be considered. Law review, moot court, and other indicators of intellectual curiosity, teamwork, and drive are viewed favorably.

Kirkland & Ellis LLP offers a competitive salary structure, as well as a robust offering of benefits to all of its attorneys. Compensation is based upon the roles and responsibilities of the position and the experience and education of the applicant and is aligned with internal pay equity within Kirkland & Ellis LLP itself. The hiring salary range for this position is between $225,000 and $390,000. These figures are not representative of the full compensation range for this position.
