Long-Term Substitute Teacher - Grade 5 Inclusion Classroom Howard Elementary School is looking for a long-term substitute teacher for a fifth-grade inclusion classroom.

Dates: November 16 2026 - February 12 2027

Key Responsibilities:

Implement ELA and Math curriculum, plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction in social studies and science

Collaborate with grade-level colleagues, special educators, support staff, and families to support student success.

Differentiate instruction and provide appropriate accommodations and modifications to ensure equitable access to the curriculum.

Implement students'' IEPs and 504 plans in collaboration with special education staff and related service providers.

Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, independence, and belonging.

Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, inform instruction, and provide targeted support.
