Long Island Superintendent

As a Long Island Superintendent you will:

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project teams.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Enforce jobsite safety and quality control standards.
  • Conduct daily site walks, progress meetings, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Manage site logistics, inspections, punch lists, and project turnover.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to maintain budget and schedule objectives.

A successful Long Island Superintendent should have:

  • 3+ years of commercial construction experience with a general contractor.
  • Proven Superintendent experience managing ground-up and/or interior renovation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, safety procedures, building codes, and field operations.
  • Experience overseeing projects ranging from $5M to $50M+.
  • Ability to lead subcontractors and maintain productive jobsite relationships.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
