Description
- Lead day-to-day field operations on retail and commercial interiors projects
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics to ensure smooth project execution
- Drive project schedules and maintain critical milestones
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
- Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities
- Work closely with Project Managers, clients, architects, and consultants
- Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget
- Maintain accurate site reports and project documentation
Profile
A successful Superintendent should have:
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor
- Proven experience delivering retail and commercial interiors projects
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site coordination
- Experience managing occupied spaces, phased projects, and fast-track schedules
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of NYC building codes, safety regulations, and best practices
- Organized, proactive, and able to lead multiple trades in a fast-paced environment
