    Job title- Logistics/Warehouse Supervisor

    About the role:

    A Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse and monitoring the productivity of its staff. Warehouse Supervisors often work in busy environments where priorities can change at a moment's notice, so an ability to multitask is and delegate is essential with this role. Important Warehouse Supervisor job duties and responsibilities include:

    What You'll Do:

    • Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments

    • Assigning and handling the workloads and daily tasks with the Warehouse Associates

    • Communicating with customers to answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems.

    • Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy

    • Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained.

    • Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery.

    • Complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

    • Completing reports by entering required information.

    • Maintaining technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.

    • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    • Making deliveries to site as needed based on requests from the field.

    • Must be able to drive a box truck or company van and have a valid driver's license.

    • Experience with Operating a forklift

    What You'll Need:

    • Teamwork and coordination.

    • Organization, planning, and time management.

    • Reporting and documentation skills.

    • Equipment maintenance skills.

    • Data entry skills.

    • Dependability and high-quality standards

    • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

    • Preferred forklift certification or capability to complete forklift certification training; company safety can provide forklift certification training.
