Logistics Specialist

Location: Orlando, FL 32822 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: $19.00 $20.00/hr, paid weekly
Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM 12:00 AM

Duration: 6-month contract with potential for extension


Overview

The Logistics Specialist supports daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. Candidates will initially train and work on 1st shift and must be flexible to work 2nd shift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials.

• Pick, pack, stock, and prepare materials for shipment.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

• Process warehouse transactions using an ERP system.

• Support cycle counts and inventory control activities.

• Verify shipping paperwork, quantities, packaging, and material accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience.

• 2+ years of forklift and hand truck experience.

• 1+ year of ERP system experience.

• 2+ years of Microsoft Excel and Word experience.

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 70 lbs. with assistance.

• Valid driver s license.

• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience.

• Inventory control experience.

• 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience.
