Description

Freight does not move itself. Somebody has to make sure every truck, every bill of lading, and every driver ends up in the right place at the right time. In this Houston warehouse, that somebody is you.

THE ROLE

As Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator, you keep shipments, paperwork, and people moving in sync. You coordinate inbound and outbound freight, prepare and process bills of lading, hand documentation to drivers, and keep every shipment tracked from dock to delivery. When something does not line up, you are the one who catches it.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Coordinate daily warehouse and logistics activities
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
  • Prepare, review, and process bills of lading and other shipping documents
  • Verify shipment information, including quantities, weights, pallet counts, and delivery details
  • Provide required documentation to drivers and carriers
  • Collect and maintain signed bills of lading and proof of delivery records
  • Schedule and coordinate truck pickups and deliveries
  • Communicate with drivers, carriers, customers, and warehouse teams on shipment status
  • Track incoming and outgoing shipments and provide updates as needed
  • Enter and update shipment information in the WMS, TMS, or other company systems
  • Assist with inventory tracking and shipment reconciliation
  • Verify orders and shipments for accuracy before departure
  • Assist with receiving, shipping, and warehouse documentation
  • Identify and communicate shipment discrepancies, delays, or issues to management
  • Maintain organized records of shipping documents and logistics paperwork
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies

WHAT IT TAKES

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
  • Logistics or warehouse experience preferred
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, able to keep multiple shipments straight at once
  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment where priorities shift throughout the day
  • Clear communicator who can coordinate confidently with drivers, carriers, and internal teams

SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY

Full time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon. The pace moves with the trucks, so some days run steadier than others.

COMPENSATION

Pay starts at $18 an hour.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

You will split your time between the warehouse floor and shipping documentation, working closely with drivers, carriers, and the warehouse team throughout the day.
