About the Position

We are seeking a Urologist Physician for a 60-day assignment in Michigan, starting Jun 10, 2026. The role involves 24-hour call coverage with daily rounding, focusing on common hospital procedures such as kidney stones, consults for CBI, stent placements, hematuria management, and difficult catheter placements, along with patient consults and managing on-call inquiries.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage common hospital procedures including kidney stones, consults on CBI, stents, hematuria management, and difficult catheter placements.
• Provide patient consults and address all on-call questions, transfers, and consult inquiries.
• Perform rounding on new admissions and any inpatients requiring attention.
• Provide 24-hour call coverage with an expected on-site presence of 2-4 hours per day for rounding.
• Handle discharge responsibilities.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Urology is required.
• The facility utilizes Athena and Cerner EMR systems.
• The schedule involves 24-hour call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM.
• Anticipate seeing 1-5 inpatient patients per shift.
• Work in a Trauma Level 2 facility.
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days.
