• Shift: 12-hour shifts, clinics open 7 days a week, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Hours/week: Approximately 36 hours

• Licenses/Certifications: Active Virginia PA license (preferred), BLS
• Experience: Prior urgent care or emergency care experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Provide urgent care services to a patient population from birth to death
• Perform procedures including suturing, I&D, splinting, and joint reductions
• Conduct diagnostic assessments like X-ray interpretation and EKGs
• Manage common urgent conditions including lacerations, burns, and foreign body removal
• Document all patient encounters in Epic EMR
• Support patients with minor injuries and illnesses, ensuring high-quality care

What You Need:

• Active Virginia Physician Assistant license
• BLS certification
• 2+ years of urgent care or emergency department experience
• Proficiency in suturing, splinting, and diagnostic testing
• Ability to work independently and handle a high patient volume
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
